DescriptionCAVE GIRLS OF THE LOST WORLD: THE HUNTOriginal published comic art by Richard Sala Watercolor art on 11" x 14" rough cut page, very good condition (minor waviness from watercolor paint) signed by the artist This art appeared in the recent collection "Poison Flowers & Pandemonium" (Fantagraphics, 2021) "Cave Girls Of The Lost World" is a campy, 60-page romp about a team of young women whose plane crashes in a land forgotten by time and rife with dinosaurs, carnivorous plants, and apemen — but these intelligent, brave, and resourceful women are ready to rumble! NOTE: The actual artwork for this auction is unedited. It's interesting to see that the published piece was edited with the addition of a bikini top. Social/Sharing |

Absolutely ridiculous. Since the drawing was published after Richard's death, I am pretty sure that he would have objected strongly.
