DescriptionNMSE and XA9 were the two books that got me started collecting comics. On my first visit to a comic shop, the cover to NMSE caught my eye and the owner told me that the story continued into XA9 so I picked that one up also.Adams's incredible detail had me hooked and I thought his take on Warlock was great. When you're an artist that loves to add pop culture references, what better character than a changeling to work with? You can really tell that Adams had a great time with that character. I think this page really represents the fun and humor that Adams brought to the issue. On the page, you've got Cannonball and Wolfsbane in the top section but it's that triptych that takes up 2/3rds of the page that is the real star. Warlock and Cypher (Douglock) swooping in as the USS Enterprise to save the day while singing the Mighty Mouse theme song. Classic humorous pop culture reference by Adams. If you're looking to sell or trade NMSE or XA9 pages, please let me know. Social/Sharing |

Prime adams! That Enterprise is so damn good! the 3 little ones that just draw your eye to the big one and give it that sense of motion are great.

I remember reading this page and thinking "Is Marvel ALLOWED to do that in one of their comics???"
