DescriptionAfter being taken captive by the Enchantress, Magik attempts to teleport the New Mutants home but instead they are teleported to all parts of Asgard and take part in their own solo adventures. Eventually they are all reunited and their rescue of Magik is depicted on this page, and it has it all! The entire New Mutants team, the Enchantress, the Surtur and killer action. I’m very happy to add another page from Adam’s masterpiece to my collection.Social/Sharing |

HOLY @#$%!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Congratulations on making me feel completely stupid for not collecting panel pages! This has got to be in the running for one of the absolute best interiors from this Magnum Opus.

The first two panels can be splashes on their own. This is Adams drawing high fantasy like Conan or Red Sonja and cementing his place amongst the best of this era.

Every panel is perfect ...the detail, the storytelling ...does not get much better than this as far as interiors go

I remember picking up this issue at my local comic shop when it came out! The best $1.50 I ever spent! Readers knew they were going to get an absolute thrill ride, that started before even cracking open the issue with the insane wrap around cover and a story so epic, it couldn't be contained in a single issue!
You just can't go wrong with pages from this book and X-Men Annual #9! Both issues were instant classics, especially NMS1, with its excellent writing by longtime x-book scribe Chris Claremont, phenomenally powerful pencils by Arthur Adams and inks by the absolute LEGEND Terry Austin (sure, others helped out on inking chores, but Austin inked the lion's share).

Not many pages in the whole two-part story feature the whole team at the same time. The presence of Enchantress and Surtur is just icing on the cake.

So much goodness going on throughout this page.
Arthur Adams never gets enough appreciation for his wonderful interior pages and brilliant storytelling. Far too few of these gems in the world compared to his cover work.
Said many times earlier but this two book series set a new standard upon it's release.

Literally the perfect page from this book--full team represented dynamically, excellent Claremont characterization, Asgardian elements, and pitch-perfect inks by Austin. This one truly has it all. Congrats!
