Description

This is labeled as Ice Issue 2 cover. I'm guessing this was supposed to be a standalone miniseries with Jae Lee doing both covers and interiors. Since this was published as Captain America Issue 13 with John Cassaday cover, I assume that miniseries was instead incorporated as the 5 part "Ice" storyline in Captain America Volume 4.

I can probably google but does someone know more background? Is my guess correct?

Either way, I really liked Jae Lee's style during this period when he did the Inhumans series I have the issue 3 cover and Captain America

This is more compelling that the published image, but I guess they wanted no question on who these characters were around Cap. This style in his career is amazing as it looks like he chiseled these images out with this brush inks.
