Description

When a commission becomes a cover! As you would imagine, I was very excited to learn Marvel was going to use my commission as variant cover. Was a huge fan of the Future Imperfect series -- hard to believe it's almost 30 years old. Was so happy to be able to commission George for this piece in 2013. Now it's an original George Perez cover and I couldn't be happier. 11 x 17"

Would love to hear any details you could provide as to steps marvel took to use your commission as a published cover.

Tim -- Haha, I wish I had some details. I opened up the Marvel Previews book 2 months ago and saw it solicited as a George Perez variant. I'm guessing Marvel asked George for a shot of the Maestro and he provided a scan. Thanks for your interest. Lou
