Description

Doctor Polaris is doing Doctor Polaris things...i.e. using his magnetic powers to tear up some poor, unsuspecting city! While I don't have much in the way of Howard Porter art (at least not enough to my liking), that's something I'd definitely like to change!

It's Porter before JLA. While it doesn't have the draw of the big guns of DC, the Ray had a track record of being a proving ground for art talent to show off what they can do with a character designed to be shown in constant action.

Very cool early Howard Porter art! I wonder why Marvel didn't sue DC for the blatant Magneto/Polaris rip off...

Even this early in Howard Porter's career his art was oozing with kinetic energy and fantastic attention to detail !! Very impressive splash from a great (and a bit forgotten) title !
