DescriptionSo excited to add a piece of Psylocke’s history to my collection. I am very fortunate to get this piece, it’s the recap of her death from X-Treme X-Men #2, when Vargas had killed her and Beast wasn’t there in time to save her.When she died and left the comic world for a few years I was definitely heartbroken to see one of my favorite characters disappear. Then Uncanny X-Men #455 came out and I saw this beautiful pink/purple close up on a character with a psi-knife that had been gone for a few years I was beyond giddy with excitement. I recall quickly getting the book and immediately flipping through it to confirm that maybe she was back in my world. And she was!!! This amazing recap page from one of her creators (Alan Davis, the guy who along with Chris Claremont, brought her from the UK magazines to the US comics) beautifully shows her last moments before her demise, her death by Vargas and mourning from Beast as he holds her dead body. It was in this issue that she mysteriously comes back to the living world (post Crimson Dawn madness). Getting the first page to this book for her return is momentous for me and is great not to just capture a piece of her history but a piece of my young fanboy adulthood that was and still is so in love with comics. What a great page! That layout supports the story so well. And to get such a nostalgic page is awesome. Big congrats!

Great page and great description. Big congrats - your excitement is clear :) Not hard to see why, either. I really like the unique layout...adds to the effectiveness of this sad moment. And of course the illustration and storytelling skills of Davis accentuated by Farmer inks?! Yep, winning page all around. Congrats, again!

Superb drawn and inked page by the classic British artist team, great example of panel page comic art in general with two greatest X-Men members !

Wow! Gorgeous X-Men page by Davis and Farmer! Love the layout here, with the panels shaped like shards of glass from a broken mirror, each depicting an element of the memory. The close ups of Beast's eye, the moment of battle, the close up of Psylocke's eye and the discovery of her body by the Beast. Memories in a mirror. Brilliant layout, gorgeous inks.

GORGEOUS page! Man, Alan Davis is so good--and you have some fantastic examples. I don't think I've read this issue, but the layout really knocks me out--and Logan's emotions pour off the page. Great stuff!
