My first Ultimate Spider-Man cover! I realize other folks in our awesome community have owned this amazing piece of art, but now it's my turn, baby! From one of my favorite Spider-Man series, with artwork by one of my favorite comic book artists, featuring my two favorite Marvel characters...that's a lot of favorites! So yes, I am very happy to own this piece! At first, I wasn't sure how I felt about a penciled cover with no inking, but in this case, I think it works and the more I stare at it, the more I love it!

Beautiful pick up! Congrats! I love inked work (like everyone else, of course), but I'm always really fascinated by the pencils of an artist. It's definitely a different glimpse (maybe even more "pure", as inking often is done by a different person and so translated through a sympathetic/complimentary - but still different - lens...?). And, hey - if the piece I love is only available as pencil, then so be it! Case in point, your lovely cover! Congrats again - an Ultimate Spidey cover is a WONDERFUL add to your already great (and growing!) collection.

Great get. Pros and cons to pencil only pieces, like anything, but a big pro is being able to see every line by the original ar-teest. I also like the composition to this one with Spidey in the fore and MK in the background. Congrats!
