Description

Marvel recently re-imagined a series of covers, and one said cover was Amazing Spider-Man #253. Since it'll likely be a couple decades since I'm able to get the original one, I was more than happy to acquire this variant piece by Francesco Mobili!

I have become a huge fan of Francesco Mobili's artwork, and this cover is a big reason why. Great add!!

Spider-Men??? They are harder to get rid of then aphids.
Try mixing some dish liquid with water and spray on him.

really cool variant cover by Mobili, his inking/shading has a really appealing finished loook to it with great definition and shade seperatiom between figures. the Black Suit Spidey looks really cool but the real stand out is the image for the Rose and his surrounding flower imagery. as the Kingpin's son I always found him to be underutilized and under the radar still somehow to people, would be cool to see him show up in the live action Daredevil/NYC street crime storytelling some day. congrats on the awesome cover piece.

A gorgeous throwback to the original and in some ways even improves on Leonardi's version! I adore all the roses and how he drew Spidey in that lithe, ballet type of physique that Charles Vess always gave him. I'm especially glad that Mobili did his own, original take on the original, rather than use the same layout and just draw it in his style. Beautiful piece all around!

Great cover. I always liked the Rose and Spidey in the Black costume is a bonus.
