DescriptionJon Kent, the new Man of Steel, quickly ditches the civies and prepares for battle. About to take on a giant kaiju hellbent on destroying Metropolis, this definitely looks like a job for Superman! There's plenty to appreciate about this Dan Mora cover, but what really grabbed my attention (aside from the dynamic Superman pose) its the reflection of the monster in the skyscraper! For some reason I find the reflective effect to be super interesting! Anyway, Mora is a terrific artist who I believe is certainly on the rise, and one who's work I'd like to start collecting more! Yep, Dan Mora is definitely a future (or maybe already current?!) superstar, and this cover is a great showcase of why. Congrats!

Dan Mora pieces that have been posted here over the last few months have really impressed me. This one might just be the most impressive one I've seen yet. Having the monster appear as a reflection on the building's window panes is a tricky effect to pull off properly, but Mora pulled it off beautifully!

Yes a great Superman pose. The real and reflected monster through me at first but when puzzled out made the image all the more interesting. Congrats.

Yeah that reflected monster image is definitely a highlight, besides the fact that you also get Superman prepping for battle! Nice one!!

Mora had been up and coming and he's coming on strong now with Superheroic art! It's taking the best of that tradition and putting the energetic spin to it.

Man, that's a pretty stunning cover image. Great idea as far as that baddie relection in the building, and love the determined look on the hero's face! Also makes you want to do what any non-variant cover should do...make you want to pick up the book and see what's up inside! I gotta look into a Mora myself. Congrats, Simon!

Congrats on obtaining this amazing piece!
Can I ask how you managed to contact Mr Mora himself? I've been trying to get through to him regarding artwork for a while now without success.
