Description

Apologises for the not great picture featuring one of the most distinctive, innovative artists delivering one of the greatest comic book movie adaptations, Marvels Dune mini-series, Frank Herbert meets David Lynch by way of Bill Sienkiewicz!

As a huge Dune fan very lucky to put this original art collection together, 7 pages representing Dune really well and showcasing Sienkiewicz’s brilliant work, the use of scratchy dynamic atmospheric lines, heavy inks, negative space, rich detail and use of splashes.

The central page is one of the unpublished versions of the title page. Very pleased to reunite pages 17 and 18 featuring my favourite scene in the movie and my favourite characters, the Harkonnens, shame someone tried to remove a stat, which are commonly used throughout the adaption along with paste ups, though the original art is still underneath. Issue 2 page 8 with the Baron floating over Jessica is mainly stats with new inking, as the original art page had two large panels which were cut.

If anyone has any other Dune art or items for sale let me know, especially anything featuring the Baron Harkonnen.
