Description

I've read and enjoyed a lot of Salvador Larroca's work throughout the years. Especially his work on "House of M: Spider-Man", "Invincible Iron Man", & that amazing "Sensational Spider-Man" Annual with that love story on Peter & MJ.

It was that story that pushed me towards getting on Salvador's rare commission list earlier in March 2023 & towards a Mary Jane request. It was either that or the House of M version of Spidey, but hey, you should pick your money's worth, considering this was "head sketches" only.

I'm glad I did so & that this is more of his older style, similar to the Sensational Annual. And before his hyperrealistic take on certain characters - especially in the Star Wars galaxy. There's almost a Romita Sr vibe to this one. Glad I jumped on this.

MJ has a very nice innocent school girl look with the Larroca inks for the fine features of her face and the extra work on her hair.
