DescriptionIn April 2019, I jumped on Angel Medina's sale of sketches. I knew these were some pre-done pieces, some quicker than others. Me being a fan of "Spider-Man: Back in Black", I knew I wanted something in that area. Luckily, this black suit Spider-Man swinging in New York City was available. Size is 9x12; and features some blue line non-repro, with then very tight pencils over it.Then earlier this month (August 2020), I suddenly saw this piece inked on Bob Almond's Facebook page. I was pleasantly surprised, but still somewhat baffled. It seems the piece I got from Angel, was the original piece and later done again by him for a commissioner. Or that's what he thought, because of the tight pencils in my version. I'm not upset about getting free digital inks, at all, but still, weird situation, I guess! Social/Sharing |

LOVE Angel's Spidey and it's not hard to see why with images like this. Nice call on getting the inks! Congrats!

Yup, weird story about those inks, for sure, but hey, if they exist and I get permission from Bob: why not?

This is awesome! What's the medium it drawn on, copy paper? I'm looking at getting a Medina piece. The Seller has 2 and both are 8.5x11" on printer copy paper. Love the story of getting free digital inks!
