Description

As mentioned in my post on that amazing Daredevil commission by Spanish master Manuel Garcia, I went back for seconds. And thirds.

The second piece of the three is this commission of Spider-Man in his black costume. Funnily enough, some things got lost in translation and artist's interpretation, so this was not exactly what I envisioned. That's how we got to my 3rd commission.

But about this piece: I love the folds in the costume, the dynamism and the detailed background (on which Manuel went all-out again, like with my Daredevil). I'm still finding new cars and things hidden.

Size is 11x17, and this was done in pencil & inks.

You should, Eric! I'm even more crazy about the other Spidey piece Manuel did for me. I'll be posting that one later this week!

Awesome stuff by Manuel Garcia with the arms stretching from the front to the back in parallel to the lines of the tall architecture. Great add of the angled rains in line with the webbing.

Manuel's great at playing around with posing and leading the eye. The way that Daredevil jumps off the page in the other piece, instantly sold me forever.
