Description

At FACTS Fall in early November 2024, Spanish artist CAFU was one of the many artists there. He's currently been doing some on and off fill-in work on "Amazing Spider-Man" and I figured it was a great time to add a Ben Reilly to my Batman.

CAFU doesn't do commissions often (and he's incredibly nice!), so his short list filled up quickly before the show. I'm glad he liked what I wanted enough to add me to the list. CAFU is a big fan of Ben Reilly (and Scarlet Spider). A testament to that love is Ben showing up in CAFU's Iron Man run a few years ago.

Art direction-wise, I was pretty clear in what I wanted. A classic Spidey-Sense, but with Ben. CAFU delivered in his usual clean and marker-style on this A4 pre-show commission.
