I'm not an Aquaman fan, per se. In all honesty, he wouldn't make my top ten of superheroes. But there is just something magical and iconic about this classic interpretation of the character
by Golden & Silver Age legend Ramona Fradon (currently still drawing at 94 years old!).

I mean: who better to get an Aquaman from than the woman who put this DC Comics hero on the map and reinvented the character in 1959, together with writer Robert Bernstein?

The drawing itself is rather simple: a bust of Aquaman and his trusty trident. Yet I can't look away from this whimsical piece of art.

This was ordered through CatSkill Comics ten days ago and was delivered this morning in Belgium. That has to be some kind of record. Size is 9x12.

Ramona has done a ton of Aquamans but this is a particularly great one.
