Description

Legends of the Dark Knight #202 (2006) original cover painting for "Cold Case, Part 2 of 3: Confidentiality". The cover has a moody, almost noir-ish feel with a great image of Batman. The art is a full grey tone painting done in acrylics by Ariel Olivetti and is also signed by him in the bottom right corner. The art has an acetate overlay for the title, logo, etc. It is on an 11"X17" art board.

It's funny how in the real world, the guy holding the flashlight would most likely be wearing a trenchcoat with a suit underneath, yet the fact that the guy holding the flashlight is instead built like a Greek God & wearing a Batman suit, somehow seems completely normal to us as fans/collectors! Beautiful piece....
