Description

This issue introduces Maya and her father. They are a race of shapechangers. The story is a straight up adaptation from an episode early in season two of the show. This episode, titled The Metamorph, really stuck with me from my childhood. It may have been that the story was an exciting departure from the rest of the series or it may have been the exotic and beautiful Catherine Schell that held my attention, or maybe a combination of the two that held my attention.

I've always wanted a Gray Morrow page and this was the page I wanted more than any other from his Space 1999 run. I can even remember this specific page from my childhood. The layouts really left an impression on me.

The page features a liberal use of zipatone. It's used on any surface that is supposed to be glass or wet.
