DescriptionThis work came from an art lesson Neal started for motion. I thought the motion lines were very different. Pencil and Ink by Neal. Zeea Adams his daughter finished off the color and background. When asked she said "I was thinking about a private detective's office." The piece reminded me of a Cold War era motel. Either way, you can't go wrong with a Neal Adam's Black Widow.Size 11X14 (Disclaimer... Because of framing sizes often reflect image size not stock size) Published in Neal Adams Sketchbook 2022 Social/Sharing |

So beautiful and this piece shows all of Neal's skills in depicting action in motion.

This was an amazing piece to color! Dad started this as an art lesson showing how to create motion in an illustration. When he handed it over to me, there was no background. It was the figure and what she's leaning on. I designed the background and created it in marker. It's part of why I feel Dad and I worked well together. He trusted me to come up with something to, I hope, enhance his work rather than just put a gradation or effect in the background. We both try, as much as we can, to tell a story in what we do, even if it's just in one illustration. I love this piece.
