Description

As I remember, it was SDCC 1991, my wife and I saw this cover in Hans Ks' booth.Drooling over it we weren't quite ready to buy our first page of OA,simply because we had just arrived and being our first time there,there was so much more to see! We strolled the isles and separated many times during the day only to find each other again and go our merry way.It was later on that I decided to go back and not miss the opportunity of buying that Saltares Cover but when we arrived we found that it had already sold,Bummer indeed!Well time went on and Christmas came and it was time to open presents that morning.I'll never forget opening that one long box and finding, "yep",the ghost rider # 10 cover, just starring me in the face! My sneaky, lovely wife had ventured off that 5 months ago and snuck it back in the car.Thanks again Lori for a wonderful present!

Ohh, gotta love that lady! Hard to top a better present for us :) And it is a beaut. Just a killer straight on shot of GR indicative of Saltares's work on the character, ringing in Danny Ketch, fondly remembered by many of us. Congrats!

Whoa! Great to see this cover here. This issue was a favorite from this run, the first maybe dozen issues were some of the best stuff out at the time. And this issue in particular was amazing. A wonderful backstory on how you got the piece, too- that's fantastic.

Please have your wife give mine some lessons on picking up amazing pieces. This one is terrific. I love the power in the pose of Ghost Rider and coming at the reader with all those details. The inking is also especially nice on this. Love this one!
