Pumby was certainly one of the funny animal comics that was always a draw for parents to buy for their kids thoughout its long publication history. Sanchis Grau fills in the entire scene of this joust that has the gag and plenty of motion to bring the action to all directions on the cover.

"One day when I was returning home, I see a black kitten with a white snout looking at me; I tell him, without making any gesture; "Get away, Pumby, I'm going!"
The kitten gets up and ... just walks away!
While I was in the hospital convalescing from a serious accident, I entertained myself by making cartoons of Pumby.
I practiced tirelessly until I was able to give him the necessary muscle and teeth to interpret comics and even add a good roster of supporting characters.
