Description

This page is from the Black Widow issue of the Marvel Gamerverse books released to promote Square Enix's “Marvel's Avengers” video game. Bandini created two pages for the issue using traditional media - this one and page 8. The rest of the art for the book was done completely digitally. I believe the initial layouts for this page were digital, and it was then finished on Bristol using a combination of ink, marker, and screentone.

I love the design elements on this page, including the action sequence played out within the Widow symbol in the background.

Totally agree regarding the design elements here. Love that split kick she's doing and that the panels in the back are enclosed in a big BW symbol. The screentone and background overall also really provide a nice sense of depth and juxtaposition. Winning page all around. Congrats on getting 1 of the 2 done digitally!
