Description11 x 15Thrilled to have gotten a page from what many consider a masterpiece of the comic form and the legendary Moebius' greatest work. Pushing and extending the limits with his nearly stream of consciousness creation, Moebius created a universe. With a variety of styles and techniques, different story threads to deepen and expand, we are taken on a wonderful journey through the visions of a master. Here we have the portion of the story where Moebius is tying his threads together. Jerry Cornelius and Major Grubert unite to get to the bottom of the chaos transpiring within the Garage. They come to find Sper Gossi at the center of the plot to take over. The detail and linework on this page are just awe inspiring. The effort at maintaining perspective and each panel gives the impression of so much more to this world and story. I consider Moebius to be at the very top of the list of important and influential comics creators/artists along with Kirby. Though I'll probably never have as much art from him as I'd like, I'm grateful to have been able to acquire this example and hopefully more in the future. Social/Sharing |

What's funny is I clicked on the thumbnail and didn't read the discription or information. I was going to write, "I know nothing about the book or story, but the art is REALLY good!"
Then I saw it was a Moebius piece....lol! So yeah, it IS really good!

Man, his pen line is just so fine and exquisite. So unique! Classic Heavy Metal work from the late 70's as well. Primo stuff, Jason, congrats!

World building at its finest. Society, culture, world order,and so much more are built from Moebius' imagination from the ground up!

What an example --- love this story and everything else Moebius did, but this period of his work is what got me to start reading European comics. Great symmetry to this page and I love Moebius's unmistakable lines

The Major in full serial mode! The alignment of secondary characters in conspirators mode is a strong nod to Tintin's early days, especially the Pharaoh's Cigars. A pure beauty!
