DescriptionThis splash is one of those pages you just can't help but stare at for hours. I've been doing that for a week straight. I wonder if I'll ever stop. It's insanely detailed and beautiful telling a heartbreaking story in one page. Wow.Hunting for key pages from this original run hasn't been easy. The most impressive and memorable pages have either already been purchased, or are in Sean's retirement collection. This one just happened to pop up at the now famous Metropolis show and I had to have it. When I first saw it, while reading issue one, I dreamed of owning it. I've been pinching myself because I still can't believe it's in my collection. Social/Sharing |

That's beautiful! I've looked at all the details for five min easy. Love the building in the background casting a Batman silhouette.

Congratulations on picking up this page! It's great you were able to pick up a page that you've wanted since seeing the comic, and this is a pretty fantastic splash montage too.

Love these kinds of images! So much story to see, so many artistic techniques, great composition. And of course here all applied to the Joker's origin as rendereed by SGM?! Killer. No pun intended :) Congrats!
