Description

There are elements that are distinctly Murphy. Central character with a leg kicked up a bit, heavy inks on both sides of the character to help frame them (or the action), great used of shadows (or reflections), finely detailed environment that give you a wonderful sense of depth.

This cover, to me, is a prime example of these trademark elements. It also happens to be one of my favourite Curse of the White Knight covers.

Looking at it closely, I'm amazed at how thin and delicate the lifework is in places. Simply stunning.

Sean had used that alleyway motif before .... What I love about this is Joker with the Jack reflection in the water.

Great in how Murphy uses her gymnastic skills and her long to lead us down to her foot to split the Joker and his reflection.
