I am so suffering penis envy over this one. The black & white Marvel magazine version of Doc Savage from the 1970's was way too short a run (8 issues).

I adored this series and this is one of the sweetest images from the series - absolutely stunning piece!

Remember buying and reading this as a kid. I had gotten the Doc Savage Giant Size that reprinted the first two issues of the comic, loved it, and then found the magazine. This is just fantastic. I'm envious.

Congrads! I always loved Doc Savage. Especially this B & W mag by Big John & Tony Dezuniga. I learned to appreciate Tony's inks & art after picking up these mags & Man-God. It's a shame it didn't have a much longer run.
