Description

Atari Force was a licensed property published by DC on two occasions. This page was from the first series.

I've wanted a piece by Gil Kane since I started this art collection, but I could never find the right one at the right price. Given my theme, I should have gotten one with GL or the Atom, but it never happened. I did see this piece in Bill Banick's gallery some time ago and commented on it. Though the first Atari Force lasted only 5 issues, it was a surprisingly good series with story by Conway and Thomas, pencils by Andru and Kane, and inks by Giordano. I also enjoyed the second series.

I like this image because it gives us Gil's SciFi world creating, his typically good looking woman, and a dramatic setting.

Oh, and check out the cover on the GCD. Pretty nice, too.
