DescriptionNate Grey is the "son" of Scott Summers and Jean Grey.....Mr. Sinister, an underling of the High Lord Apocalypse, artificially created Nate from genetic material from Cyclops and Jean Grey. Sinister created Nate as the ultimate telepath and telekinetic, and hoped to use him in his own bid for power against Apocalypse.I remember getting this piece 20 years ago because I thought "hey, neat side-ways horizontal page"....and, yes, it's a historic page (1st appearance of X-man and Issue #1 from AOA story arc)... But, when I pulled this page from my bins to post on CAF, I was more taken back by the cool middle panel of Bishop confronting Magneto. It's not just a visual treat, but an integral part of the AOA story...where we first see how Bishop (and Magneto) know this AOA universe is not supposed to be happening. The title of the story from this issue is "The Age of Apocalypse begins now." Social/Sharing |

AoA is very memorable for me. One of my favorite X-men storylines of all time. Great piece!

Oh, can't beat great art paired with historic importance! I know a few collectors that would love to have this one :) Love Skroce's work from the time, too. Loved his '90s work and here's a great example! Congrats!
