Description

Historic 1st app page of the Unknown Soldier.
Created by Joe Kubert (writer, penciller, inker, and editor).

I was inspired to post this page, as I got to visit the tomb of the Unknown Soldier at the Arc de Triomphe in Paris (see 2nd attached pic).

I am happy to be the caretaker for this historic page...and...happy to finally have a Joe Kubert piece in my gallery.

Only the bravest of souls would venture there when it's wet. Stunning page to honor the everyman. The ones we don't know who made the ultimate sacrifice against evil! It would take an artist extraordinaire the caliber of Joe Kubert to do this justice.
