I'm baffled that I am the first one commenting on this, but here we go- Batman: Year One may be the most definitive superhero/ mysteryman origin story ever told. Mann pays an awesome tribute to that tale while emphasizing the contemporary relevance of Bruce and Selina's relationship in Tom King's Batman run. All those signs surrounding and integrated in the piece are plain fun. My eye goes right to the Miller one, though. Recognize. Am I right?
