Those hints of blue and the water color reds are done in the same manner as grey wash for a light touch and adding more character to Vader's mechanical exterior.

What a great stylized version of Dart Vader - the reflections, sizing of the helmet make it feel like a blend of the Ralph McQuarrie design and what made it in the movie! Amazing piece by Matias!
