DescriptionNIGHTCRAWLER in BAMF action! This incredible action commission piece from Dave Stokes captures his growing talent in this cover worthy illustration. From the tonal work in the BAMF cloud to the 3 dimensionality of Kurt’s tail to his facial expression and clenched feet ready to grab onto a target and attack. The piece captures Nightcrawler’s powers with his confidence in his learned acrobatic skills. It’s one of my favorite Nightcrawler pieces and happy to be able to post this Christmas gift from last year into my collection. Social/Sharing |

Great action and this exudes Kurt's carefree charm really well. The smoke effect is very cool.

That is some gift. Love the exaggerated pose, the positioning of the hands and fee, and the tonal difference between the almost washlike blacks on the smoke and the solid blacks on the figure itself. Stokes really seems to have captured the essence of the character.

Full of Kurt's acrobating joyous swashbuckling charisma occupying a space in time! I would think he's Bamf'in high in the air to experience the weightless sensation of flight.

Absolutely -outstanding- version of our man Kurt here! A stellar composition, and I -love- the way the tail and feet are drawn (the tail dipping back into - and coming out of - the smoke, and just how perfectly the toe-fingers are articulated to really sell their ability to grasp onto anything). Super-DUPER cool! Really love this one! Congrats on a great Christmas pick up (and thanks for finally sharing it with us)! :)

Really did come out great! Great pose, perfect Kurt expression, and his rendering via brush of the brimstone flat out works. Congrats, James!
