Description

I've wanted a Gray Morrow piece for years and found this strip that includes one of his famously cute women. Buck isn't in this one but his nemesis "Killer" Kane is and I'm pretty sure the woman is Princess Ardala. Seller wasn't sure of the publication date. Purchased from the nice folks at Anthony's Comic Book Art.

I'm unsure of which year but likely drawn in 1979 or 1980. Definitely not 2019!!

The revival of the strip that ran with the TV show was 1979-83 and they didn't follow each other's storylines. The show had drastic cost cutting changes after one season and it couldn't keep up with the quality standards set in season 1 which in turn tanked the series. The strip ran longer and rode the Star Wars wave. Morrow did 3 years and provided this gorgeous Ardala which we wished to see more of in the flesh.
