DescriptionNYFC 2024After facing defeat so many times, I’ve often wondered if I’d ever be fast enough, both in internet speed and reflexes, to secure a Felix drop win. It's been a long time since I've felt the thrill of victory but it seems the art gods have finally shined their light on me. This TMNT cover has everything that I love about a Tradd Moore piece. An intensely detailed and chaotic depiction of the turtles. Tradd's line work is so confident yet so abstract and funky. So many line weights. It really does look more delicate when you're looking at the piece in real life versus the scan. While there's a lot going on, I love how that blank space on the right helps to balance and gives room to breathe between the two sides. It's so good! Great manhole too. Social/Sharing |

Congratulations! Picking up a piece off a Felix drop, especially from a modern master is no small feat.

Pure Tradd goodness! He's like Picasso - he can render perfectly mundane, and then he evolved to out of comprehension. This piece encompasses the whole spectrum of his abilities.
