DescriptionSuch great color and detail from this ultimate level commission - pen/ink/color - with crisp vibrancy that jumps off the page. Beyond the big bold profiles of both Spidey and Wolvie, it's the little things that make it - like the wrinkles in Spidey's suit and the mud on Wolvie's boots. Really happy to have this!Social/Sharing |

This is outstanding! Stellar renditions of my two favorite comic book heroes! Gorgeous colored, and highly detailed depictions by Stevens! Congrats, and thanks for sharing!

Arguably Marvel's 2 premier characters rendered exquisitely by Stevens! Particularly love the colors on Wolvie! Congrats!

This paper size can barely contain these two on the x and y axis. The coolness factor is jumping off the scale in the z axis.

Amazing colors on this - Wolverine really shines. Spidey has a bit of an alien face going on - but great piece.

You know, it's kinda funny when you think about it - Spider-Man's mask IS some sort of cloth, so it would wrap against his face. I've always been partial to the nose sticking out on the profile look. Alex Ross likely does it best, but your piece is another good example of a more realistic mask on face. Considering all the other cloth folds at joints, even the mud on Wolverine's boots - it's just more realism added to this piece. I hope you know I meant no disrespect to the piece at all.

no worries! i did not take it that way at all and agree with you! It is one of those odd "realism" things with masks right? same with how like Iron Man's mask likely cuts off his nose (but then people were up in arms about Ross's nose protrusion on the helmet). I think what strikes me as more alien in the narrowed eye slits, a departure from the wide-eyed McFarlane eyes that we are used to

One of Chris's very best creations. I love how dark it is at the top, but how the light increases as you scroll down the image. And I really love the tight crop of the scene. Your curiousity almost wants the camera to pull back so you can see what's going on around them, but at the same time, you can't take your eyes away from what's in the frame. This really IS an incredible accomplishment. Congrats and thanks for sharing!
