DescriptionCLICK HERE FOR THE LINK IN OUR FEBRUARY 2021 AUCTION!16x20" Newton Canvas Board features graytone mixed media painting original art by Stephen Hickman, an artist, illustrator, sculptor and author best known for his work in sci-fi and fantasy, w/over 350 book and magazine covers to his credit. His works illustrated the stories of Robert A. Heinlein, H.P. Lovecraft, J.R.R. Tolkien, Anne McCaffrey, and Andre Norton. Art was originally created for use on a t-shirt during the 1970s and features a bare-breasted woman w/pointed ears and a tail posing among a tiger skin and fabrics in an Art Nouveau setting, a large hookah clearly visible behind her.
