DescriptionMy recent focus on finding published Hembeck art has hit another nugget! Fred did some variant 'sales incentive' covers for IDW in the 2010's for TMNT.Here in issue 2 we see Raphael with his Sai at the ready (wearing red- open to feedback from tmnt faithful if I have this wrong) flying through the air through a wave of arrows into a waiting army of bad guys with their swords drawn. Look familiar? Yep, it's an homage to Frank Millers Daredevil 189 cover -same setup, psi vs. clubs and turtle vs. DD. All provided in alt images for fun. Love this one, no swirly knees, but Hembeck aping Miller with his own fun twist is great. For some reason I'm imagining. Groo at the other end of that drawn sword, but who knows... Social/Sharing |

Awesome - check my gallery for issue 3 done by Hembeck, this time DD 181. Fun stuff and its awesome to see his work in your gallery. Congrats.
