Description

The designers of Spider-man and his Amazing Friends wanted a fellow teenager to follow along with Spidey's adventures so it was eventually narrowed down to Iceman, a teen figure of the X-men.

This is the final, original pencil model drawing of Iceman by animator Rick Hoberg that took influences from John Romita Sr's initial drawings (see below) of him as John was a creative consultant on the show. This is a full body side view that, compared to the conceptual draft (also in my gallery), shows more blockiness which gives more an icy appearance, particularly in his head.

Very cool (pun intended) trifecta of Bobby drawings from Spidey and his Amazing Friends! This show is the reason I became a fan of the character in the first place. And to this day! Congrats!
