So i was noticing that my solo creature art was at the 99 mark. I wanted to do something special for my 100th piece of solo creature art. Chris had sent out on his newsletter that he would be slotting 1 hour of his time for sale and that he would be in the chicago area. At first i thought there was no way i would get it. Too many people live in the city of chicago and they would all jump at the chance. After reading the newsletter more carefully i noticed that he was not in chicago but in bolingbrook. Thats is the same town i work in. I emailed and sure enough he had a slot open. I met chris at his hotel and we ssat by the pool and chatted about comics, movies and life in general. It was one of the most special times i have ever had. I think it was great to be able to get this amazing piece from him but i think that getting to spend one hour with a person you admire and respect was worth it. I can never thank Chris enough for the wonderfull art art and more importantly the great stories.

Oh my god Bachalo does an AMAZING Creature! Might be one of the BEST Bachalo character sketches I have ever seen. Bravo!

I read the letter and was so bummed I don't live anywhere near Chicago. Fortune definitely favored you; great art and an even better story! :D
