DescriptionThis is my Arthur Adams commission of Hellboy. This was really cool/lucky how I even got this from him. I offered him a trade, a comic for a commission. He was all for it and I was just excited he went for it. I was expecting him to just draw the character but the amount of detail and extras put in made my year.I’ve been a fan for a long time, even seeing him back when he worked at a comic shop in the Bay Area. I remember going there and seeing his drawings up for sale but I never could afford them as kid. I don’t know anyone who isn’t a fan of his work. Him being from where I grew up always kept him at the top for me. Bucket list artist achieved with him drawing my favorite character. If you told the younger me that I would own this one day, he wouldn’t have believed you. Thank you again Art! Social/Sharing |

You already have some great Hellboy pieces, but hard to say that this doesn't sit on top of them all! Congrats on a great trade.

Haha! So you are an old custmer from the comic shop days. Yes, there was a comic shop called Ogleo's in SF that his ex-girlfriend used to own. I practically lived there. In fact, at one time, I had a bunch of old Spidey issues that I consigned there and they were all stolen when her shop was broken into. Anyway, seeing Arthur there behind the cash register always made me laugh. Congratulations on this amazing piece and thanks for the Ogleo memories.

Oh man that's hilarious! Anytime we went into the city I had to go there. You ever pick up one of his sketches he would put up for sale? I think he was asking 80 bucks but that was never going to happen for me. Now I got this gem, it's wild. This made my day, thank you!

Wow! That's insane...and for a copy of ASM 39!? (I'm gonna figure it was a very high grade copy!!)...this is a crazy illustration with that monster hand..and first thing I thought of was Hellboy Vs The Monstrous Hand Of AI! So cool and congrats!

It was and signed by Stan and John Romita. It's honestly my favorite but I'll trade it any day for Arthur. That hand is so badass, Thank you!

This is a grail to be sure! The monsterous hand(s) are just as much a featured part of this piece with Arthur putting so much work into it. Hellboy is in for a tussle!
