Description

In a flashback scene, Mikey spars with Casey Marie Jones in April O'Neil's secret underground compound. Mikey discovers Casey is a lot more powerful than he realized and decides to train her.

Last Ronin is famously based on a "Dark Knight Returns" type of dark future story of the Turtles cooked up by Eastman and Laird in the 1980s. Kevin Eastman has thrown himself into this project and is doing the scripts (with Tom Waltz) and layouts.

The Escorza brothers know how to draw the Turtles and this is a dynamic page with a nice full-body shot of Mikey in the top and great hand-to-hand combat showcased in the panels.

Hand pencils and inks over printed layouts on a larger 13" by 17.5" page.
