DescriptionJeff Johns retconned the origin of Green Lantern in this story drawn by Darwyn. Here a young Hal Jordan sneaks on to Edwards Air Force Base to spy some fighter jets taking flight. I really dig that bottom panel of a young Hal squinting into the sky.I have always been a fan of Darwyn's retro style and it's easy to see his affinity for Green Lantern in this story drawn before The New Frontier. Fencing in the first three panels and the blue sky background was added digitally in the published page. Social/Sharing |
