Description

From Joseph Melchior, �Rare unpublished Watchmen page featuring Dr Manhattan on Mars. Drawn for the series in 1986 but discarded when Dave decided to change the layout. A historical glimpse into the creative process. Hand lettering is also by Dave. Large Art - 13 x 20�. The Einstein quote is a stat.�

Completely thrilled to add this grail piece to my collection!

In comparing this page to the published artwork there are subtle differences but it�s remarkable how consistent they are. Gibbons is a true master of his craft.

Thanks! I hadn't either and the last page from issue 4. Blew my mind that I was able to get it.
