Sticking with the 90's comes this cover from 1992.

I was never much of a LSH fan. I didn't read any comics with them and really didn't have an interest in learning. Then one day at the local comic shop, out of curiosity I browsed the current Legion book. It was an issue of Giffen and Gordons 5 year later run, the one were Roxxas kills Blok. That's all it took, I was hooked. It was an early issue so it wasn't hard to get caught up. I had no knowledge of the LSH, I learned everything from that series. I loved it, The art, the story and the characters. To this day its the only LSH series I have ever read and I stuck with it until it ended.

There were a lot of great characters in the book, my favorite was Brin Lando, Timberwolf. I liked the Furball look especially. Lol.

I absolutely loved the painted first cover. I remember Joe Phillips at San Diego one year had this painting at his table. I would pass by it multiple times just to stare at it. The colors were beautiful and Timber Wolf looked cool. I thought it was cool.

To my surprise it came up for sale last year and I jumped on it. So glad to have it. I get giddy looking at it and it takes me back to being a kid with a big smile on my face. That's what art is for!

Wow, just Wow!!! The printed cover never did it justice!!!
