DescriptionWell as always happens in this hobby… I was hunting for a Gary Frank piece for my collection for a while and within a couple weeks I wind up with two! The Gen 13 cover is beautiful but this one is a different beast! One of the none X books I throughly enjoyed in the 90s was Peter David’s Incredible Hulk especially the smart hulk arcs. I think Keown and then Frank’s styles melted so well with the stories that it was a perfect synergy. This mostly splash is a near perfect example! Massive image of the Hulk beautiful rendered by the art team and him holding a gun! Also love the Ker-rasssshh drawn onto the board. I always love a page with a big sound effect especially one in ink! Maybe someone will trade me a nice x piece for the gen 13 … lolSocial/Sharing |

Although Frank didn't work there, this has the British feel of a 2000AD futuristic combat series like Rogue Trooper and ABC Warriors with space aged guns and sharp artistry.

I am sucker for cool comic panel sounds, and KER-RAASH, PTOO, PYAW and PTOW is pretty darn cool!

Love the "KER-RAAASH" to start off the page! Abd a killer splash afterward. Frank was definitely the right man to follow up Keown. I gotta get a piece by him soon! Congrats!
