Description

If you were reading comics when the Thunderbolts burst onto the scene .. you remember one of the last great marvel surprises! We didn�t know it was Zemo and the masters of evil masquerading as heroes for quite some time! Great concept and a fun read to see some evolve into actual heroes and others shed the facade and go back to being bad!

Lots of nostalgia for the book so I�m pretty happy to add a fairly early cover from Mark Bagley who was synonymous with the book back then!

Songbird was one of my favorites and this cover depicts here going a little overboard! Lol

Hate to bust on you, but they revealed to the readers the team was the Masters of Evil at the end of issue 1. The rest of the Marvel Universe didn't know. The fun of it was that they were trying to hide it, recruited actually good heroes who didn't know, and even tried to break good under Hawkeye's leadership at one point. This is a great cover design by Bagley who made Songbird / Screaming Mimi look like there are angel wings raised around her. A rebirth like a Phoenix which is probably what drew you to this cover.

You are right my friend! It's been a long time since I read them... I just remember not knowing from the hulk issue and the secret being a plot device.
