DescriptionWhen Bill Cox wants a page posted you post a page! And in honor of Anthony Snyder’s massive Sinnott reveal show tonight on YouTube. I’m going with this Defenders page I picked up not long ago. I’m not a big Don Perlin fan but this page has so much going for it I had to grab it! First the slick Sinnott inks bring out the best in Perlin so that’s a win upfront… then I’ve always been fascinated by the Son Of Satan character Damion Hellstrom (btw the Hulu TV series Hellstrom was fantastic- if you haven’t watched it check it out!) so getting some great images of him in an all out battle with a possessed Hellcat (she reminds me of Demon Child Magik … think Claremont read this???) is a boon. The action depicted is really Perlin at the top of his game. Next this issue features the first appearance of Gargoyle another character I’m fond of from reading the later New Defenders issues as a kid. And lastly and probably my favorite part is the giant drawn “Unstoppable “ in the last panel! How could I not own this!Social/Sharing |

Anthony must have taken a trip to the Catskills one day. Posting this at the midnight hour is quite a devilish move! That first panel is staged with lots of camera motion tiled and sliding behind Damion to attack this Hellcat! The fiery battle is sick with Sinnott burning it down making the UNSTOPPABLE! even more powerful!

Spreading your collector wings outside the X world with some bronze goodness, man! I can dig it. And I dig subtle panel breaks...Daimon doin' it via pitchforck in panel 2! Congrats!

nice page! Perlin and Sinnott pair well for a dynamic page with solid storytelling and interesting panel layouts. The Unstoppable panel makes it a no brainer for your collection!
