Description

this piece was passed on to me when my father passed. I have seen it on his desk for many years and always loved it. Thanks to Dave Kopecki for filling me in on the info for this piece. It is the original art that was published as part of a card series.

Sorry for the loss of your father, but I can help you identify this at least. This is Fairchild vs Traveller from the 1995 Wildstorm Gallery painted trading card set. This is card B8 from the Battle Card chase card subset. This is a really nice one! I happen to collect them and have over a dozen of the paintings for this card set myself. If you do ever decide to let it go, please keep me in mind.

Thanks for the info Dave. I am planning on framing this piece and now that I know it was made into a card, I will have to track it down and see if I can get it put on the matting. If I ever do decide to get rid of it I will difenately contact you. My dad would be happy to know that if I didn't keep it, that it went to someone who would really appreciate it.
