Description

I started out collecting artwork through sketch cards over 10 years ago. And Vince was the first person I ever commissioned. I wanted a Marvel vs DC battle, and I selected Wolverine vs Batman. I loved it so much, I commissioned him to do 5 more. There were obviously so many battles I would love to see, so I ended up making semi-random choices. For example, I knew I wanted to have a card with Juggernaut. But to decide his opponent, I made a list of DC heavy hitters, and Bane was the random choice that came from it. Otherwise I would never have decided lol. I gave the matches to Vince, and told him to do what he liked :). He has been my favorite artist to this day.

'Deadpool' vs 'Green Arrow'
'Black Cat' vs 'Harley Quinn'
'Enchantress' vs 'Doctor Fate'
'Gambit' vs 'Batman Beyond'

Ink, markers, and colored pencils on 4x5 cut bristol paper (except 'Wolverine vs Batman'. That is on official cardstock for the 2012 Marvel Greatest Heroes trading card set. That is why it is a different from the others).
