DescriptionThis spectacular commission was a 50th birthday present from my amazing wife. She doesn't know anything about original art collecting but she knew enough to reach out to Felix Lu for help. (She's seen a lot of payments to Felix over the years!) Felix took it from there and worked with Dan to get this done. I love the personalized Easter eggs like the "50" on the door and the "Happy Birthday" above the grill. Subtle but perfect.This is really special to me because of the effort everyone put into it. My wife has been supportive and accepting of my art addiction, although she has no interest in it. Felix knew me well enough to find the perfect artist and subject. He remembered a comment I made about a DWJ Transformers page I bought featuring Jazz and that he was a childhood favorite. (Check out the additional image) And, for superstar DWJ to squeeze this into his already packed schedule means a lot. I won't get into all the details here, but I'm eternally grateful and humbled by this gift. Thank you all so much! 9x12 mixed media Social/Sharing |

Extra nice touch to have the easter eggs! Designed to look like the double exposure photography of the early 80's with the original toy promo look from Japan. DWJ nails every aspect including the sporty race car look!
